ITHACA, N.Y. – The Lakers finished the Greg Page Relays in Cornell on December 3 in their first action of the Track and Field season. Several schools showed up to compete, and Oswego had a few standout performances.

HOW IT HAPPENED

WT&F

• Gretchen Dowd finished sixth in the Women's 1000 Meter Run with a time of 3:50.48

• Ellie Decker secured a top-ten finish in the Women's 3000 Meter Run, finishing seventh with a time of 11:14.69.

• Abigail Conpropst finished 11th in the Women's Shot Put with a distance of 10.7 meters.

MT&F

• Matthew Broadnax finished 40th in the Men's 300 Meter Dash with a time of 37.46. Aidan Harrington finished two spots behind in 42nd with a time of 37.58

• Matthew Pietzak finished sixth in the Men's 1 Mile Run with a time of 4:41.29.

• Nathan Couse finished 11th in the Men's 3000 Meter Run with a time of 9:23.95.

• Broadnax, Pietzak, Christopher Dorney, and Harrington combined to run the Men's 4x400 Meter Relay in 3:38.56, finishing 11th overall.

• Dominick Angradi, Couse, Andrew Deming, and Brad Laquidari ran the Men's Distance Medley in 11:52.94, finishing third in the event.

• Alexander Kline finished 11th in the Men's Shot Put, throwing for a distance of 12.54 meters.

WHAT'S NEXT

The Laker Men will travel to Utica to compete in an invitational on January 14, while the Women will again make the trip to Cornell to compete in the Southern Tier invite on January 7.
