-
The third quarter is where the Lakers took a lead that they never surrendered, driven by a small scoring run they started midway through the quarter.
-
Shania Iglesias tied the game 30 seconds in, and the game remained deadlocked until about seven minutes remaining, when Logana hit a layup to take the lead.
-
A few Bengal turnovers and two points each from Iglesias and Castiglione later, and the Lakers secured a six point lead, the largest either team had until that point.

The Bengals were able to claw back and narrow the deficit to three points entering the fourth, but the Lakers had the momentum after holding Buffalo State to just nine points in the third.
-
Peyton Daeffler and Logana were able to add some buckets in the fourth to slowly extend the lead over the Bengals, and the Lakers walked away with an eight point victory, 64-56.
-
Chastin Giles also had a few points in the fourth quarter to continue to put the pressure on the Bengals to come back.
-
The big differences in the game were points off turnovers, with Oswego capitalizing on Buffalo State turnovers to the tune of 15 points.
-
Bench play was crucial, especially in the fourth, with 15 of Oswego's 19 fourth quarter points coming from the bench.
-
Logana took advantage of her starting role to lead the Lakers in scoring with 13 points. Castiglione chipped in 11.
