OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State Lakers are thrilled to announce the schedule for the upcoming 2023 Fall Volleyball Season. With Jon Stenman in his inaugural season with the Lakers, we are excited to see where he brings the program. Here is the highly anticipated schedule:

The Lakers will start off their regular season with their inaugural Oswego State Invitational. The Green and Gold will be taking on Marywood University for their first game of the season.

 

After the home tournament the Lakers will head North for the North Country Classic. This tournament will include the St. Lawrence Saints, the Hamiltons Continentals, Clarkson University and of course the Lakers. 

 

Oswego will head to the Hartwick Invitational where they will take on the home team Hawks, Alfred State College and clean it up with SUNY-Delhi. 

 

Oswego will then travel to the RIT Invitational, this invitational will be split hosted by the RIT Tigers and the St. John Fisher University Cardinals. The Lakers will take on Trine University on September 22nd at SJFU and will then travel to RIT to take on the Cardinals at a neutral site. The host sited Tigers will take on the Lakers following the matchup with the Lakers and Cardinals. 

 

SUNYAC play will initiate with the Red Dragons of Cortland at Max Ziel Gymnasium, September 26th at 6:00PM. 

 

Oswego will feature a cancer awareness game on October 3rd against the Mustangs of Morrisville. 

 

The senior class of 2023 will be honored on October 14th against Oneonta at 1:00PM in Max Ziel Gymnasium. 

 

The SUNYAC playoffs will be held on November 7th (first round), November 10th (semi-finals) and November 11th (finals).
