OSWEGO, NY- The Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams hosted Roberts Wesleyan University and Hobart and William Smith Colleges in a double dual meet this afternoon. The men's and women's teams had top finishes that led to a sweep over each visiting team.

HOW IT HAPPENED To start the meet the women's team of Maura Waite, Aurora Jarvie, Abby Hinman and Alexia Lemus placed first in the 200 Medley Relay. Likewise, Matthew Dambra, Nathan Ratta Vine, Lucas McGarry, and Vincent Mullen took first for the men's event. Izzy Dague and Emily Lotito placed first and second in the women's 1000 Yard Freestyle. Dague also finished first in the 200 Individual Medley and the 100 Yard Backstroke. Jake Sarnowski and Ryan Liedka took the top two spots for the men in the 500- and 1000-Yard Freestyle events. Claiming the top two spots for the women's 100 and 200 Yard Freestyle were Jayna Laferriere and McKenna Briggs. For the 50 Freestyle, Jarvie and Lemus placed first and second for the women, and for the men Dambra and Mullen took the top two finishes. The men's 200 Individual Medley saw a sweep by Zachary Brown, Sarnowski and Ratta Vine placing first through third respectively. Serena Bardin took third in both one- and three-meter diving. Sweeping the men's 100 Yard Freestyle were Dambra, Ryan Murphy, and William Sterling. Brown and Duncan Smith took first and second in the men's 100 Yard Backstroke. Brown also claimed the top spot in the 100 Yard Breaststroke. Emily Lotito had first-place finishes in both the women's 500 Yard Freestyle and the 100 Yard Breaststroke. To end the meet, both the men's and women's teams took first in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay. The teams of Jarvie, Lemus, Anna Baker and Laferriere, and Murphy, Smith, Sterling, and Mullen touched first.
