OSWEGO, NY – The SUNYAC has announced their men's ice hockey preseason poll for 2024-25. The Oswego Lakers are second in the poll only behind Plattsburgh.

Oswego entered the 2024 SUNYAC post season ranked No. 2, but was defeated by the Cardinals in the conference semifinal, 3-2 in overtime. The Lakers finished the 2023-24 season 16-9-1 overall. In 2025, the team looks to win their 11th overall conference title and first since 2014.

The Lakers opened their season with a 5-1 win over the Kings College Monarchs on Saturday that featured a hat trick from Connor Gatto. This Saturday the Lakers will return this Saturday October 26^th for a 7:00 PM exhibition game against Nazareth University.
