CORTLAND, NY – The SUNY Oswego men's and women's track and field teams were in action Friday and Saturday at the SUNY Geneseo Early Season Invitational.

HIGHLIGHTS

The team of Rhiannon Butchko, Noladia Blum, Aionna Johnson, and Brenna O'Brien finished third in the women's 4x100 (53.90)
 
The team of Dan Mars, Matthew Broadnax, Jack Hickey, and Ernest Venable Jr. finished third in the men's 4x100 (43.35). This time qualified them for regionals!
 
Faith Coyle finished FIRST in the women's 1500 meter with a time of 5:02.03, and Hannah Reichard finished right behind her in second place with a time of 5:02.37.
 
Matthew Pietzak finished fourth in the men's 1500 meter with a time of 4:18.53.
 
Brenna O'Brien finished 6^th in the women's 100-meter hurdles with a time of 17:06.
 
Matthew Broadnax finished 6^th (52.48) and Aidan Harrington finished 7^th (52.92) in the men's 400 meter.
 
Dan Mars finished 4^th in the men's 100-meter with a time of 11.05.
 
Matthew Broadnax finished 6^th (23.02) and Jack Hickey finished 9^th (23.44) in the men's 200-meter.
 
Andrew Deming finished FIRST in the men's 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:11.78!
 
Veronica Mejia finished 8^th in the women's javelin throw (16.51).
 
Neil Blaisdell finished 9^th in the men's javelin throw (32.84).
 
Adam Cuyler finished 9^th in the men's shot put (11.24).
 
Rhiannon Butchko finished 4^th in the women's high jump (1.57).
 
Brenna O'Brien finished 8^th in the women's long jump (4.59).
