OSWEGO, NY — The Oswego State men's basketball team is set to announce its schedule for the 2024-2025 season. The Lakers will participate in two different tournaments along with a tough non-conference schedule.

Key Highlights of the 2024-2025 Season:

• Season Opener: The Lakers will tip off their season on November 8, 2024, at 3:00 PM against Muhlenberg College at the Louis Alexander Palestra in Rochester, NY as part of the Rochester Tournament. A second game on November 9 will be scheduled either at 3:00 PM or 8:00 PM, with the opponent to be announced.
• Tough Road Games: Oswego will face strong opponents on the road, including defending conference champion New Paltz on January 28th, 2025, and Brockport on November 19, 2024. The team will also compete in the Stevens Holiday Tournament, with matchups scheduled for January 3-4, 2025, in Hoboken, NJ.
• Exciting Home Games: The Lakers will return to their home court at Max Ziel Gymnasium in Oswego, NY, with notable home games against Oneonta on December 3, 2024, New Paltz on January 7, 2025, and a series of crucial matchups throughout January and February, including games against Buffalo State, Fredonia, Plattsburgh, and Potsdam.
• Rivalries and Rematches: Key rivalries and rematches will be featured, including a face-off against New Paltz on January 28, 2025, and a series of home games that will conclude the regular season with important matchups against Cortland and Morrisville

The Lakers will look to put themselves once again in a position to make the NCAA Division III Tournament for the fourth year in a row.
