OSWEGO, NY – The SUNY Oswego men's tennis team hosted their first match of the season on Friday afternoon. The Nazareth Golden Flyers came to town to challenge the Lakers in their first Empire 8 clash of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Doubles matches kicked off this afternoon with a tough loss for the Lakers team of Bannochie and Marcano.
Austin Davis and Matt Mannara were able to battle back and bury their opponents by a score of 6-3. That was followed by
Colin Byer and Tyler Yhun who took down the Golden Flyers as well by a score of 6-2.
Anthony Marcano and
Ethan Bannochie both got revenge for their double's loss taking the victory in singles from the Nazareth opponents by similar scores, 6-0/6-2. Unfortunately, as the afternoon went on, Oswego would fall to the Golden Flyers in four singles matches as fatigue began to set in.
Nazareth handed the Lakers their first loss of the season, 4-3/
