Rome, N.Y. – The SUNY Oswego men's golf team wrapped up the fall portion of the Empire 8 Championships on Monday at Teugega Country Club, finishing sixth overall after a steady second round.

How it Happened:
Junior Tyce Helmick once again led the Lakers, carding a 76 (+6) to close the event at 13-over par, earning a tie for seventh place individually. Justin Alvord followed with a strong 77 (+7), climbing nine spots on the leaderboard to finish tied for 27th overall.

Jack Shaw and Sam Ligas each turned in rounds of 79 (+9) to finish tied for 13th and 26th, respectively, while John O'Neill (85, +15) and Evan McDonald (81, +11) rounded out Oswego's lineup.

This concludes the fall season for the Lakers who will return in the spring of 2026.
