How it Happened:

The Lakers were led by Sam Ligas, who fired a 79 (+7) in round two to finish as one of Oswego's top performers on the weekend. Ligas showed resilience throughout his round, bouncing back from early challenges to post a steady back nine and anchor the lineup. Sam improved on his score from Sunday by 1 stroke.
 
Tyce Helmick followed with an 84 (+12), closing out a consistent two-day showing after leading the team in round one. Gavin McCarthy and Jack Shaw each carded rounds of 84 (+12), providing crucial depth for Oswego.
 
Kevin Waters added an 86 (+14), while Justin Alvord rounded out the scoring with an 87 (+15).
 
This concludes the regular season for the Lakers who earned a first place, second place, and two third place finishes this season.

This coming weekend, the Lakers will host their annual Oswego State Spring Invite starting at 11:00 AM on Saturday at the Oswego Country Club.
