Oswego, NY – The SUNY Oswego Lakers hosted the SUNY Morrisville Mustangs for an important SUNYAC clash as the two teams hurdled towards the postseason. It took five sets to decide tonight's contest with the Lakers prevailing 3-2.

How It Happened
Priscilla McReynolds led the charge with 14 kills and a .292 hitting percentage, while
Kalley Vugteveen added 12 kills and three block assists.
Grace Gdovin also reached double digits with nine kills and eight digs, and
Gigi Basile chipped in eight kills and nine and a half total points.
Setter
Mya Bush orchestrated the offense with 47 assists and contributed three kills, while libero
CJ Eidem anchored the back row with 18 digs.
The Lakers found themselves in several tight sets, trading momentum with the Mustangs throughout the evening. After splitting the first four frames, Oswego surged ahead early in the decisive fifth and never relinquished control, closing the match on a Vugteveen kill to seal the 15-12 victory.
This victory for the Lakers earns them their 18
th win of the season, which is a mark they have not reached since the 2019 season.
Priscilla McReynolds also reach the 500 career digs milestone in this match.
What's Next
The Lakers will stay at home and take on the defending SUNYAC Champs tomorrow when the Cortland Red Dragons come to town for a 1:00 PM start.
