Oswego  NY - The SUNYAC has announced their weekly awards. The Lakers very own Jayna Laferriere was selected as Women's Swimmer of the Week!
 
Jayna Laferriere dominated the sprint and mid-distance freestyle events, going undefeated across the meet while posting the top women's performances for Oswego. She opened with a decisive win in the 200 freestyle (2:01.24), then captured the 50 freestyle (25.63) with the fastest sprint of the day and completed her individual sweep with a strong victory in the 100 freestyle (55.75). Laferriere also anchored the winning 200 free relay to close out the meet, securing valuable points and demonstrating leadership in high-pressure moments

The Lakers will hit the road this Saturday to take on the Fredonia Blue Devils starting at 1:00 PM.
