FREDONIA, NY. - The SUNY Oswego Swimming and Diving Teams traveled west to Fredonia, NY to face off against the Fredonia Blue Devils.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Men's Meet:
The Lakers took first, second, and third place in the 200 yard medley relay, with Fredonia not competing in the event.
Jake Sarnowski took first in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 1:56.44.
In the 100 yard backstroke, Ethan Calhoun took first. Manav Sindhi and Mike Neckers competed, but were exhibitioned after the conclusion of the meet.
Peter Jennings took first in the 100 yard breaststroke, with the rest of Oswego's competitors again being exhibitioned.
Mitchell Stevens came out on top in both the 100 and 200 butterfly, with respective times of 54.37 and 2:07.22.
Nick Derick took first place in both the 50 and 100 yard freestyle, recording times of 22.71, and 52.28 respectively.
In 3 meter diving, Fin Doloway took second, recording a score of 121.35. In 1-meter diving, he took second again, this time scoring 140.93.
Ethan Calhoun took first place in the 200 yard backstroke, recording a time of 2:06.56.
Peter Jennings took first in the 200 yard breaststroke, with a time of 2:33.73.
Duncan Smith won the 500 yard freestyle for the Lakers, with a time of 5:36.08.
The Lakers swept the 400 IM, with Ethan Calhoun taking first place with a time of 4:36.73.
The 200 Free Relay was the same as the first, as Fredonia did not compete in the event.

Women's Meet:
The Lakers took first, second, and third place in the 200 yard Medley Relay.
Izzy Dague took first place in the 200 yard freestyle, as well as the 400 yard IM.
Sophia Panetta took first place in the 100 yard backstroke, with Maura Waite taking first in the 200 yard backstroke.
Anna Baker took first place in the 100 yard breaststroke, with a time of 1:15.40.
In the 200 yard butterfly, Joscelyn Coniski finished first with a time of 2:32.24. She also took first in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 1:03.24
Jayna Laferriere won both the 50 and 100 yard freestyle, with respective times of 25.85 and 55.99.
Maddy Van Bramer took third in women's 1-meter diving, and second place in women's 3-meter diving.
Gabby Janeski took first in the 200 yard breaststroke, with Kaitlin Wheeler finishing second.
Emily Seldin took first in the 500 yard freestyle, recording a time of 5:45.94.
Izzy Dague, Anna Baker, and Bella McDonald took first through third in the 400 yard IM.
The Lakers closed out the day taking first through third again, this time in the 200 yard freestyle relay

The Lakers will take a couple weeks off for Thanksgiving Break, and will be back in action on Saturday, December 6th, at 1:00PM, where they are set to host Brockport at Laker Hall Pool.
