STATEN ISLAND, NY – The Oswego Lakers men's and women's track and field teams took on the FastTrack National Invitational in Staten Island, New York on Friday.

In an ultra-competitive meet, the Lakers earned some exciting results below!
In the men's 200,
Daniel Mars ran a time of 22.45 which is a new SCHOOL RECORD and qualifies him for regionals!
In the men's 800,
Jeffery Simmons ran a time of 1:59 which movies him into the top ten in Oswego history!
Elena Gaffney finished with a time of 5:21.95 in the women's mile and a time of 2:30.11 in the women's 800. Both times were a personal best for Elena!
Angelina Buttigieg finished the women's 800 with a time of 2:38.43.
Rhiannon Butchko scored 1.50 meters in the women's high jump.
Madiagne Niang ran a time of 7.16 in the men's 60 open and a time of 22.79 in the men's 200 whic is a new personal record as well as freshman record for Oswego!
Cory Morton ran a time of 9.37 in the men's 60-meter hurdles.
Sabrina Schmitt ran a time of 8.65 in the women's 60-meter open and 27.49 in the women's 200 meter which was a personal best time.
Noah Melita ran a mile time of 4:37.36 which was a personal best time.
In the men's 400,
Jack Hickey ran a time of 51.67 which is a personal best.
In the women's 3000 meter,
Julia Weaver ran a time of 11:35.83 which is a personal best time.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Lakers will head to the Conference Tune-Up Meet hosted by Nazareth on Friday February 21
st.
