OSWEGO, NY - Oswego faced off against the Canton Roo's for the first game of a three-game series this weekend. This series marks the end of SUNYAC conference play for Oswego and the Lakers kick it off with a bang.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lakers scored early and often against Canton on Friday, In the top of the first, Oswego pushed across 6 runs on 4 hits and three errors.
In the second,
Daniel Winchester crushed a triple that scored another run followed by a sac fly from
Dylan Rosenberg for the second run of the inning.
The Lakers didn't score again until the 5th inning when
Tishawn Featherstone reached on a fielder's choice scoring
Trey McGowan.TJ Harrington pushed across a run and then Felix De Asa singled home another for a 12-1 lead.
In the 7th,
Jordan Ynoa tripled scoring Winchester and
Joe McLaughlin flied out to center field scoring Ynoa. That gave us our final score of 15-1.
Jacob Sanders started the game for the Lakers pitching 4 innings with 7 hits and 1 run.
Jordan Goble and
Danny Moccio combined for 3 scoreless innings to shut down the Roo's
