OSWEGO, N.Y. – The SUNY Oswego women's volleyball program has officially released its 2025-26 schedule, featuring a competitive slate of non-conference tournaments, key SUNYAC matchups, and exciting home dates at Max Ziel Gymnasium.
The Lakers will kick off their season on the road at the Elmira College Quad on August 29–30, where they'll face Bard, Moravian, and the host Soaring Eagles.
Tournament play continues September 5–6 at the Amherst Tournament in Massachusetts, followed by the Union/Russell Sage Crosstown Challenge in Troy and Albany on September 12–13. Oswego then hosts its own tournament—the Oswego State Invitational—September 19–20, welcoming Brockport, Pitt-Bradford, Western Connecticut State, and Utica University to Max Ziel Gymnasium to take on the Lakers. Keuka College and SUNY Canton will also attend the tournament.
SUNYAC play gets underway October 3 at home against New Paltz, followed by Oneonta the next day on Senior Day, October 4th. Other conference highlights include road trips to Plattsburgh, Potsdam, Buffalo State, and Fredonia, and key home matches against Morrisville (October 24) and rival Cortland (October 25).
The regular season wraps up with non-conference opponents including Clarkson, Skidmore, and Rochester before the SUNYAC Tournament begins on November 11.
Last season, the Lakers improved to a 14-14 record securing their spot in the SUNYAC Playoffs where they took on the New Paltz Hawks. The Last time the Lakers qualified for the SUNYAC Tournament was in 2022. Oswego will look to qualify two years in a row in 2025.
