OSWEGO, NY – The SUNY Oswego men's wrestling team is set to embark on a highly competitive 2025–26 season, featuring a mix of prestigious invitational tournaments, home duals, and key SUNYAC matchups as the Lakers aim for postseason success.
The season officially opens on November 7-8 with a two-day appearance at the Ithaca College Invitational, hosted at the Hill Center's Ben Light Gymnasium. After a home opener on November 15, the Lakers travel to the NYS Collegiate Open on November 22 and the RIT Invitational on December 6.
SUNY Oswego closes out the fall semester with a home tri-meet on December 14, hosting both SUNY Brockport and Lycoming College at Laker Hall.
The new year begins with a road dual against RIT on January 3, followed by the Lycoming College Duals on January 9-10. The Lakers then return home for a marquee matchup against Ithaca on January 17.
The SUNYAC Championships will be held January 24 in Brockport, followed by the Cortland Quad on January 31, where Oswego will face off against TCNJ, Delaware Valley, and host Cortland.
February brings three home duals, starting with Oneonta on February 4, St. John Fisher on February 6, and another opponent to be announced on February 14.
The Lakers wrap up the regular season at the Future's Tournament on February 21, with postseason competition continuing at the NCAA Region 2 Championships on February 27–28 in Rochester, N.Y.
