OSWEGO, NY. – The Oswego State men's golf team turned in a competitive performance at the Oswego State Invite on Saturday at Oswego Country Club, with both the Lakers' A and B squads finding success on their home course.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Leading the way for the Lakers' A team was
John O'Neill, who carded a steady 75 (+4) to finish inside the top 10 on the leader board. Just behind him,
Jack Shaw posted a 77 (+6), while
Sam Ligas followed closely with a 78 (+7). Rounding out the group,
Justin Alvord and
Tyce Helmick each finished at 81 (+10). The consistency across the lineup secured Oswego a team total of +30 on the day.
On the B team side,
Tyler Simonetti paced the group with a 76 (+5), placing him just three strokes back of the team's top performer. Both
Liam Hobbs and
Jacob Petelin contributed solid rounds of 77 (+6), matching Shaw's effort from the A squad.
Carter Wichelns and
Evan McDonald rounded out the B team, each carding an 84 (+13).
