OSWEGO, NY - The SUNY Oswego Men's Golf team was on the road again this weekend for their second match of the week. On Saturday they took part in the first day of the St Lawrence University Fall Invite.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Round Scores:

10. Jack Shaw - 76

Jack Shaw and Tyce Helmick paced the Lakers, each carding rounds of 76 (+4) to sit tied for 10th overall. Shaw posted a balanced front-nine with birdies on holes one and seven, while Helmick delivered consistency across both sides of the course, highlighted by a birdie at the par-three third.

John O'Neill followed with a 79 (+7), placing him in a tie for 22nd. His round featured a strong close on the back-nine, including a birdie on the par-four 16th.

Justin Alvord was just one shot back, posting an 80 (+8) to hold a share of 25th place. Alvord's round was fueled by three birdies, including a clutch one on the par-four 13th.

Rounding out Oswego's lineup was Sam Ligas, who finished with an 84 (+12), placing him in 47th. Ligas picked up three birdies in his round, including back-to-back red numbers on holes 12 and 13.
