OSWEGO, NY - The SUNY Oswego men's golf team wrapped up play at the St. Lawrence University Invitational on Sunday with steady performances across the lineup, highlighted by a top-10 finish from
Jack Shaw.

Shaw carded a 75 (+3) in the second round, finishing the tournament at 151 (+7) to tie for seventh overall in the individual standings. He put together a consistent round with birdies on holes four, eight, and 18, moving up three spots on the leader board.
Justin Alvord turned in the Lakers' second-best score of the day, posting a 76 (+4). His back-to-back birdies on the 11th and 12th holes helped him climb four spots into a tie for 21st at 156 (+12).
Tyce Helmick finished close behind, shooting a 79 (+7) to end the tournament at 155 (+11), good for a tie at 16th place. Helmick recorded birdies on holes three and 16 to keep his round on track.
John O'Neill matched Helmick's score of 79 (+7), finishing at 159 (+15) in a tie for 26th. His round included birdies on holes one and 17.
Rounding out the lineup,
Sam Ligas posted an 80 (+8), highlighted by birdies on holes three, 13, and 15. He finished at 164 (+20) in a tie for 44th.

The Lakers will head to the Gauntlet hosted at the Bucknell Golf Club starting Sunday September 21
