BUFFALO, NY. - The SUNY Oswego Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams traveled to Buffalo for day two of the SUNYAC-Allegheny Mountain Conference Championships.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Men's Meet:
In the Men's 400 Yard IM,
Manav Sindhi, who was seeded 5th headed into the A Final, jumped a spot into 4th place. Meanwhile
Ethan Calhoun remained in 7th, as both had stellar performances in this one. Jake Sarnowski finished 2nd in the B Final, as
Aidan Caples finished 6th, and
Ryan Liedka 8th. For overall placements of 10th, 14th, and 16th respectively.
Mitchell Stevens, who was seeded dead last in the A Final of the Men's 100 Yard Butterfly jumped 2 spots, and into 6th place overall for the Lakers.
Jayden Hernandez took second place in the B Final for the Lakers.
In the Men's 200 Yard Freestyle,
Antonio Medina finished 5th overall with a time of 1:44.79.
Duncan Smith finished 8th for the Lakers
Ryan Murphy took first in the B Final of the Men's 200 Yard Freestyle, and Sam Waddell finished fourth.
In the Men's 100 Yard Breaststroke,
Nathan Ratta Vine took second with a time of 56.95.
Manav Sindhi finished 8th, and
Peter Jennings took 12th overall for the Lakers.
Jayden Hernandez took 7th in the Men's 100 Yard Backstroke, with
Mitchell Stevens finishing 9th overall.

Antonio Medina took third overall in the Men's 400 Yard Medley Relay, with a time of 3:28.
Fin Doloway finished 7th overall in Men's 1-meter diving.
Women's Meet:
After breaking the Oswego State Record in the Women's 400 Yard IM at preliminaries this morning with a time of 4:39, Izzy Dague doubled down, with a first place finish, and a gold medal time of 4:37.50.
Anna Baker also jumped from an 8th place seeding up to a 6th place finish.
Joscelyn Coniski finished 2nd in the Women's 100 Yard Butterfly, with a come-from behind finish. Meanwhile, in the B Final, Abby Hinman and Kate Burch took 10th and 13th respectively.
Jayna Laferriere brought home yet another gold medal, this time in the Women's 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:55. Bella McDonald finished 4th, with
Emily Seldin and Allie Priestley taking 11th and 15th respectively.
In the Women's 100 Yard Breaststroke, The Lakers finished 4th through 7th, with
Emily Lotito, Gabby Janeski,
Willow Gaines, and
Aurora Jarvie finishing in that order.
In the B Final of the Women's 100 Yard Backstroke,
Maura Waite took 2nd (10th overall), and
Sophia Panetta took 4th (12th overall).
The team of Izzy Dague,
Emily Lotito,
Joscelyn Coniski, and
Jayna Laferriere finished in third, completing another successful day at the SUNYAC Championships.
