How it Happened - Game 1Â
The Lakers took control early of what ended up being a nailbiter of a finish in Oneonta.
Brendan Mair opened the scoring in the top half of the second with a sacrifice fly out to score

Runs galore was the story of the second game in the doubleheader, as there was just one full inning without either team plating a run, which was the 4th inning. The Lakers came out on top 12-11.

The Lakers scored in the top of the first inning with a bases loaded walk from
Matt Carner to open the scoring. They were held off the board in the second, but tied the game at 2 from
Daniel Winchester stealing home to even the game at 2-2. Oswego scored again in the 6th inning due to a RBI single from
Dylan Rosenberg to bring the game within 1.
Daniel Winchester and
Harry Uvena would plate two more runners on a double and single respectively to keep the Lakers within two runs.

The Lakers would take their first lead of the game since the top of the 1st inning in the 8th inning with 5 runs coming across.
Jordan Ynoa singled to score a run,
Daniel Winchester tripled, scoring three, and
Harry Uvena provided a sacrifice bunt to score the 11th Laker run. In the 9th inning, the Lakers would add a 12th run, which ended up being the final run necessary.
