How it Happened - Game 1
The Lakers took control early of what ended up being a nailbiter of a finish in Oneonta. Brendan Mair opened the scoring in the top half of the second with a sacrifice fly out to score Andrew Dempsey, a score that held in Oswego's favor until the sixth inning.

The Lakers added two insurance runs, which ended up being the deciding runs, as both Daniel Winchester and Dylan Rosenberg both scored on wild pitches.

Starting pitcher Matthew Sands proved excellent once again, as he pitched into the eighth inning, surrendering 2 runs before handing the ball to closer Matthew Drillings to get the final 5 outs.

Despite a 9th inning single and stolen base, the runner was stranded at second on a fly out to right field, which wrapped up the first game.

How it Happened - Game 2
Runs galore was the story of the second game in the doubleheader, as there was just one full inning without either team plating a run, which was the 4th inning. The Lakers came out on top 12-11.

The Lakers scored in the top of the first inning with a bases loaded walk from Matt Carner to open the scoring. They were held off the board in the second, but tied the game at 2 from Daniel Winchester stealing home to even the game at 2-2. Oswego scored again in the 6th inning due to a RBI single from Dylan Rosenberg to bring the game within 1.
Daniel Winchester and Harry Uvena would plate two more runners on a double and single respectively to keep the Lakers within two runs.

The Lakers would take their first lead of the game since the top of the 1st inning in the 8th inning with 5 runs coming across. Jordan Ynoa singled to score a run, Daniel Winchester tripled, scoring three, and Harry Uvena provided a sacrifice bunt to score the 11th Laker run. In the 9th inning, the Lakers would add a 12th run, which ended up being the final run necessary. Andrew Dempsey provided a sacrifice fly to score Ben Rollison.
