Oswego, NY –SUNY Oswego Athletics celebrated another memorable year of success on and off the field on Monday April 26th at the annual Ozcar Awards ceremony, recognizing the outstanding accomplishments of Laker student-athletes throughout the 2025-26 academic year.

Male Athlete of the Year
Travis Baker took home Oswego's Male Athlete of the Year award following his 2025-26 campaign, which saw him be named to an All-American Third Team for the first time in his career. Baker becomes one of just ten defensemen in all of Division III hockey to be honored with this achievement. He anchored an Oswego defense that surrendered just 2.3 goals per game and an 8.7 shooting percentage, including 6 shutouts. Baker notched 6 goals and 18 assists for 24 points on the season, along with 20 blocked shots defensively. 
 
Female Athlete of the Year
Alexis Hill ends her career in Oswego becoming one of the most decorated players in Oswego State Women's Lacrosse history. Playing in over 65 career games for the Lakers, Hill led Oswego to back-to-back seasons with the #1 seed in the SUNYAC Tournament, capturing the SUNYAC Championship for the first time in the program's history in 2025. Hill added to a 50 goal season last year by recording 67 goals and 25 assists for an astounding 92 points in 18 games. For her efforts, she was named to the All-SUNYAC First Team, along with SUNYAC Midfielder of the Year this season. This season, she hit career milestones of 100 goals, 100 points, 100 draw controls, and 100 ground balls.
