Oswego State Athletics

Freshman field athlete Mallory Eckert placed third in the javelin throw with a distance of 28.62 meters, which bettered her season best by six meters, in her second competition ever in the event.  She was the only Laker female to score individually at the University of Rochester Alumni Invitational. After this weekend, Eckert is tied for second among all SUNYAC competitors in the javelin throw.
