The sophomore bettered his own school record in the 400-meter dash by more than six-tenths of a second with a third-place time of 49.04 seconds to qualify for the ECAC Championships at the Coach P Open hosted by Moravian College. He also ran the first leg of the 4x400 relay that clocked a time of 3:21.61 for a third-place, school-record showing. The ECAC-qualifying relay broke the previous record of 3:22.83 set in 2000.
