OSWEGO, N.Y. – Lauren Fie – of the volleyball team – was named the Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending September 15.
Fie was named to the All-Tournament Team at the annual Oswego State Invitational as Oswego went 3-0, highlighted by three straight sweeps of the opposition. Fie hit .304, had 24 kills, 10 blocks and six aces during the week, which included a 3-0 midweek win over Keuka College on the road.
For the season, Fie leads Oswego with 23 blocks and is third on the team in points (85) and kills (62).
The Lakers return to action on Tuesday at 6 p.m. as they open conference play with a home match versus Cortland.
