The Oswego State women's lacrosse team earned its first win of the season with a 12-5 victory over RIT on Saturday at Laker Field.
Tricia McNeilly scored three goals for the Lakers.
Oswego State scored the first five goals of the contest en route to the win. McNeilly scored twice in the first three minutes of the game and Susannah Taylor tallied twice in a span of 29 seconds to put the Lakers ahead 4-0.
Jessica Maltese had two goals and an assist for Oswego State. Laura Dorsey had a goal and an assist. Meghan Dooney, Meredith Lerch, Michelle Mendell, and Alisha Sarubbi also scored for the Lakers.
Amanda Crozier had two assists for the Tigers, who fell to 0-3 on the season with the loss. RIT goalie Kelsey Evans had 16 saves on the afternoon.
Oswego State is now 1-5 on the year, and begins SUNYAC play on Saturday. The Lakers host Geneseo at 3 p.m.
