The Oswego State women's lacrosse team defeated Hartwick 12-6 on Saturday afternoon in the first game of the year for both teams.

Senior captain Tricia McNeilly had four goals and three assists to lead the way for Oswego State, and Jessica Maltese added three goals in the victory.

Nicole McHale, Susannah Taylor, Colleen Ventura, Alisha Sarubbi, and Michelle MenDell also scored for the Lakers. Ashley Andersen, Meredith Lerch, and Meghan Dooney had assists.

Jamie Boulton had two goals and two assists for Hartwick, and Kelsey Campbell and Jessica DiBrita each scored twice.

Oswego State goalie Shannon O'Brien made 11 saves to earn the victory in net.
