The Oswego State women's lacrosse team lost 20-4 at Cortland on Wednesday evening.

Alisha Sarubbi, Meghan Dooney, Jessica Maltese, and Susannah Taylor scored the Oswego State goals, and Rachel Ventresca had an assist.

The Red Dragons, ranked 12th nationally, scored 10 goals in each half. Andrea Venditti had five goals and four assists for nine points to lead Cortland.

Oswego State goalie Shannon O'Brien made five saves.

The Lakers are now 4-6 overall and 1-3 in the SUNYAC while Cortland is 8-3 overall and 3-0 in the conference. Oswego State plays at Oneonta on Saturday at 1 p.m., and hosts Fredonia and Buffalo State next week.
