The Oswego State women's lacrosse team lost its final game of the season 18-8 at St. John Fisher on Tuesday afternoon.
Senior Tricia McNeilly finished her outstanding Laker career with five points on two goals and three assists. Michelle MenDell had a goal and two assists and Ashley Andersen scored twice. Jessica Maltese had a goal and an assist. Alisha Sarubbi and Rachel Ventresca also scored for Oswego State.
The host Cardinals jumped out to a 10-1 lead in the first half. Haley Koperski had five points for Fisher and Theresa Nobilski and Laurie Quackenbush had four points each.
Oswego State goalie Shannon O'Brien had nine saves. Caitlin Weir scooped up a team-high five ground balls, while Meredith Lerch had six draw controls.
The Lakers finished their season with a 5-9 record, and St. John Fisher improved to 12-5.
