The Oswego State baseball team lost 4-2 at Clarkson on Monday afternoon.
The Lakers were held to just six hits in the game by Clarkson starter Brady Torbitt and three relievers. Oswego State pitcher Justin Horbal allowed four runs and eight hits in seven and two-thirds innings. Adam Harendza recorded the final out for the Lakers.
Clarkson went ahead with three runs in the bottom of the third. Brian Theilemann had a two-out single and Ralph Rizzo followed with a two-run double.
Oswego State got back into the game with a single run in the fifth when Tom Farrell reached on an infield error allowing Dan Pecora to score. The Lakers narrowed the deficit to one in the seventh on an RBI sacrifice fly from Farrell.
Clarkson scored the game's final run in the bottom of the eighth inning.
Oswego State fell to 14-12 overall and Clarkson wrapped up its season with a 7-24 mark.
