OSWEGO, N.Y. - Brian Tosti and Tim Van Hine, Jr. posted an 8-6 win at No. 3 doubles to send the Oswego State men's tennis team (2-7) into singles play trailing 2-1, but Elmira (4-7) won five of six singles matches to hand the Lakers a 7-2 loss.

Sam Moores registered the lone Oswego State singles win at the No. 4 spot. Moores edged out Steffan Waters 7-3 in a first-set tiebreaker and went on to win the second set 7-5. Ben Schleider nearly pulled out a come-from-behind win against Sam Pine at No. 3 singles. Schleider came back to win the second set, 7-5, after dropping the first set, but lost the decisive set, 6-2.

The Lakers host Onondaga Community College on Monday at Romney Tennis Courts at 4 p.m.
