ORLANDO - The Oswego State women's lacrosse team (2-2) bounced back from a three-goal loss the day before with a 22-5 victory over Centre College on Monday. Thirteen different Lakers scored in the win as
Erannan Shattuck (Fr., Syracuse, N.Y.) paced the offense with four goals and two assists.
Oswego State stormed out to a 13-4 lead at halftime before closing out the game with nine goals in the second half.
Lindsey Eggers added a hat trick, while
Courtney Cosentino (Jr., Syracuse, N.Y.),
Mackenzie Kjerstad (Jr., Baldwinsville, N.Y.),
Candace Tarana (Jr., Rochester, N.Y.) and
Esther Gabriel (Fr., Lancaster, N.Y.) tallied two goals each. Other Laker goal scorers included
Michelle Ruskey (Sr., Deerfield, N.Y.),
Becky Guess (So., Burnt Hills, N.Y.),
Shelly Bateman (Sr., Fulton, N.Y.),
Corinne Marsh (Jr., Endwell, N.Y.),
Danielle Citro (Sr., Miller Place, N.Y.),
Jayme McCreary (Fr., Waterloo, N.Y.) and
Brittany Koelmel (Jr., Dexter, N.Y.).
Nikki Greco (Jr., Syracuse, N.Y.) and
Lauren Marois (Sr., Clifton Park, N.Y.) combined to make 10 saves in the victory.
Oswego State returns to action next Monday when it travels to SUNY Canton to face the Roos at 4 p.m.
