OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's swimming and diving team were downed by the Rochester Institute of Technology on Wednesday evening. The squad fell by a score of 143-89.
Senior
Sabia Filiaci earned the most points of the day as she took home nine with a time of 59.78 in the 100 yard butterfly. She also earned top points in the 200 yard freestyle relay with help from
Emily Doe,
Kathryn McKinney and
Natalie Brophy.
Oswego took home the top three spots in the 100 yard breaststroke with
Emily Karszes taking first with a time of 1:17.13. Finishing right behind her was
Maya Kaplan and
Kaylin Luhrs who clocked in at 1:17.94 and 1:23.98, respectively.
Women's swimming and diving will be back in action at 1 p.m. on Saturday for a meet in Oneonta.
