OSWEGO, N.Y. – Oswego State men's tennis team falls to Alfred University 6-3 on Sunday afternoon. The loss, coming at home, puts the team's record to 1-2 on the year.
Oswego picked up a point at third doubles to start out the match.

Jon Matros played a close-knit match and were able to pull out a 9-8 victory for the Lakers.
In singles, the squad was able to pick up two more points. Tim Van Hine took three sets to put down Alfred's Michael Graham, 5-7, 6-3, 7-3. Tyler Bauxbaum was able to secure his first win as a Laker at sixth singles, defeating Utica's Mike Wisniewski 6-1, 6-1.
The men's tennis team will return to action on October 25 for a home match against Houghton College.
