Greensboro, N.C. – The Oswego State men's lacrosse team routed Greensboro College 15-3 on Tuesday evening to improve to 3-1 on the year.
Torry Whitcher led all Lakers with four points, scoring two goals while assisting on another two.
Nick Giampaolo paced Oswego with goals, netting three on the afternoon.
Brady Hoose,
Troy Crevier and
Matt Palmer each had two goals with Crevier owning the faceoff circle (14-for-18).
Wyatt Russo earned the win in net for the Lakers, stopping nine shots while also having a team-high seven ground balls. In fact, 20 different Oswego players recorded a ground ball, with Giampaolo collecting six and
DJ Sellick five to follow close behind Russo.
Oswego will return to action at 1 p.m. on Saturday when it travels to the campus of St. John Fisher College to face the Cardinals.
