BOX SCOREOSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State men's tennis team had its two-match win streak ended 7-2 to St. John Fisher College on Thursday afternoon at the Romney Indoor Tennis Courts. With the loss, the Lakers fall to 3-4 overall while Fisher improves to 4-8.
Spencer Thorn picked up Oswego's first point at fifth singles, downing Fisher's Kyle Stitch 6-1, 7-5.
Justin D'Antonio then followed suit with a win at sixth singles, weathering Daniel Tedesco's best efforts in the first set 7-5. D'Antonio then cruised in the next set 6-2.
Oswego will return to the courts at 1 p.m. on Saturday when it travels to Aurora, N.Y. and Wells College to face Lancaster Bible College in a neutral site contest.
