New Paltz closed the gap to 6-4 with five minutes remaining in the first half but Oswego answered with three goals in the final three minutes.  Lindsey Eggers, Becky Guess and Lange each tallied a goal in that span to give the Lakers a 9-4 edge at the break.

New Paltz came out hot in the second half, scoring four of the first five goals to close the gap to 10-8.  Eggers had the lone goal during that stretch on an assist from Gabriel.

Oswego again had an answer, putting up the next four goals to push the advantage to a game-high six at 14-8.  Eggers, Kelsey Henderson, Gabriel, and Lange all scored, respectively, to put the game out of reach.  New Paltz would score two before Gabriel notched her third and Eggers her fourth to end the scoring.
