Elmira, NY – The men's team lost its opener to Elmira College with a score of 2-7

 
One of the Laker wins came from freshman Spencer Thorn at fifth singles, beating his opponent with a score of 6-0, 6-3. The other win came at third doubles with Max McCune and Sam Carges defeating Alfred's thirds 8-5.
 

The Lakers next match is at home on October 10th against Daemen College.
