RESULTSOSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's swimming and diving team increased its win streak to five straight, defeating Brockport 147-130 at Laker Pool on Saturday afternoon. Oswego nabbed seven first-place finishes throughout the day.
The Lakers got off to a strong start taking both first and second in the 200-yard medley relay. The first-place team that finished with a time of 1:57.92 was comprised of
Hannah Jensen, Abigail Mullett,
Megan Kowalski and
Emily Doe. Kowalski would go on to earn top finishes in both the 200 and 100-yard breast later in the day.
Freshman
Riley Synan owned the fly competitions, touching the wall first in both the 200 and 100-yard events.
In the distance races, Stephanie Noga led the way for the Lakers, clocking in first in the 1000-yard free with a time of 11:29.30. She later took the top spot in the 500-yard free.
Women's swimming and diving returns to the pool next on the weekend beginning on Dec. 4 as the team competes in the two-day Hamilton Invite.
