OSWEGO, N.Y. -- Six Laker teams will be in action this weekend, all of which are still fighting for spots in the conference playoffs. The weekend will be highlighted by baseball, which hosts three games against Cortland in a battle of nationally-ranked top-five teams.
The No. 3/4 ranked baseball team will have its toughest test of the season thus far as they square off with No. 1 Cortland for a three-game set. Game one will be at 3 p.m. on Friday, before a Senior Day doubleheader starting at 12 p.m. on Saturday.
Eric Hamilton is having an MVP-type season, ranking in the top-10 nationally in home runs (6th), slugging percentage (5th), and home runs per game (2nd).

Men's and women's track and field will travel to the University of Rochester for a meet beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
Ben Griffin will look to repeat his performance from the last time the squad was in Rochester a few weeks ago. The junior ran a career-best in the 800 meters at the Roc City Classic, placing him fifth in the NCAA for the race.

Women's lacrosse will host Canton at 4 p.m. on Saturday for their final non-conference matchup before wrapping up their season with two SUNYAC opponents. The squad is off to their best start in conference play since the 2005 season, boasting a 3-2 record.

Men's lacrosse will have their Senior Day at 1 p.m. on Saturday against Brockport. The team will graduate four seniors who will all be looking to snag an important SUNYAC victory.
John Novitsky has anchored the defense for the past four seasons, playing in all but one contest through his Laker career.
