CLINTON, N.Y. – The Oswego State men's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to Hamilton College on Saturday afternoon. Oswego falls to 3-5 on the year, while the Continentals improve to 5-9.
Jon Matros and
Brian Emigholz led the Lakers on the day, pushing their Hamilton opponents the farthest of all the Lakers. At second singles, Matros took a game in the first set and then proceeded to take a couple in the second. In the five hole, Emigholz failed to take a game in the opener, but held three times in the second set.
In doubles play,
Chris Gayvert and Emigholz took a game in their match at second doubles.
Tyler Buxbaum and
Jimmy Terzian also scored a game at third doubles.
Oswego returns to action after more than a week off as it travels to Alfred for a match against the host Saxons at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11.
