DELHI, N.Y. – The Oswego State men's tennis team fell to Hartwick, 6-3, on Wednesday afternoon. With the loss, the Lakers move to 3-4 on the season.
Oswego picked up two wins in singles competition. In the fourth slot,
Jimmy Terzian bounced back from a 3-6 loss in set one with a 6-4 victory in set two. With a score of 13-11 in the deciding set, Terzian picked up the Lakers' first match win of the day.
Brian Emigholz followed up in the fifth slot with a victory of his own, defeating his Hartwick opponent 6-3, 6-2.
Terzian secured another win in doubles play, teaming up with senior classmate
Dillon McDonald. They notched a decisive 8-2 win over their Hartwick opponents for Oswego's final point of the contest.
The Lakers return to the court at 4 p.m. on Friday when they host St. John Fisher College at the Romney Tennis Courts.
