ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Oswego State men's tennis team fell to Oneonta, 9-0, on the road on Sunday morning. With the loss, the Lakers finish their season with a 5-6 record.
Playing supersets in the singles portion of competition, reigning Oswego State Athlete of the Week
Jimmy Terzian put up a fight against his Oneonta opponent before ultimately falling 10-6. At fifth singles,
Brian Emigholz was competitive as well, but eventually fell 10-5.
In doubles, Emigholz paired up with
Jon Matros for another strong effort. The pair narrowly lost to the Red Dragons, 8-6.
The Lakers will return to the courts for more action next season.
