BROCKPORT, N.Y. - The Oswego State track & field teams had three individual winners while sophomore Kevin Mitchell lowered his regional qualifying time in the men's 200-meter dash with his second-place finish in 22.80 seconds - the third fastest time in Laker history for the indoor 200-meters.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Matthew Barbookles took home the first title with a win in the men's 5,000-meter run in 16:12.39.
• In the women's 3,000-meter run, Hannah Hertik also grabbed top honors with her time of 11:32.60.
• Senior Catarina Burke jumped a height of 1.59 in the women's high jump to earn first place and tie her season-best.  She also qualified for the 60-meter hurdle final with her time of 10.89 seconds.
• Shaniece Gregory made her 2020 debut with a pair of thirds in the 400-meter dash (1:02.39) and the 200-meter dash (26.96).
• Freshman Ashleigh Lacy had a pair of top-10's with a fifth in the 60-meter dash (8.35 seconds) and a seventh in the 200-meters (27.73).
• Kyle Sorbello (1.86 meters) continues to be among the top performers in the men's high jump, earning third.  Teammate Keeghan Savoir took seventh at 1.71 meters.
• Nathan Jennings also took a third in the men's pole vault with his clearance at 3.95 meters.
• In the women's long jump, Sarah Yensan was third with her jump of 5.31 meters.
• Gabriel Winters-Bona ran fourth in the 3,000-meter race in 9:19.50 and Max Cameron was fifth in the 400-meter dash in 53.45 seconds.
• Mitchell returned to the track to score a sixth in the 60-meters at 7.30 seconds.
• Also recording top-10's were Amare Greer (200-meter dash), Lindsay Fluman (weight throw), Kayla Guerre (long jump), Emily Blake (3,000-meter run), Mia Alexander (3,000-meter run), Rebecca Cropsey (3,000-meter run), Michelle Gloska (3,000-meter run), Yajaira Ramos (3,000-meter run) and the men's 4x400-meter relay team (Cameron, Christopher Dorney, Ousmane Diallo, and Greer).
