Oswego, N.Y.- The SUNYAC has announced its Indoor men's track and field all-conference teams and postseason awards.  Oswego earned two athletes with honors.

Sophomore Cory Morton (Syracuse, NY Nottingham High School) was the first Laker to be announced as a All-SUNYAC honoree after his excellent indoor season. Corey began the winter campaign, setting two personal bests in the Long Jump (6.56 meters, finishing 8th) and Triple Jump (14.14 meters, finishing 2nd) at the Utica Holiday Classic, held on December 6th. He followed that up with setting another personal best a little over a month later, this time in the 60-meter hurdles, with a time of 8.82, good for a 3rd place finish. Corey's Triple Jump consistency ranked him inside the top 2 of every meet throughout the winter season, and culminated at the SUNYAC Indoor Championships, where he finished 2nd with 14.12 meters. 
 
Sophomore Jeffrey Simmons (Medford, NY / Longwood High School) was the second and final Laker to be named to an All-SUNYAC team, as he took home Third Team honors. Jeffrey competed in a multitude of events throughout the winter season, including the 4x400 meter relay, the mile, the 800 meter, and even the 4x200 meter relay. Jeffrey excelled in the 800-meter, consistently posting finishes in the top 5 throughout the indoor season, with a 2nd place finish at the Highlander Invitational, with a time of 1:58.44, a 2nd place finish at the Nazareth Conference Tune-Up, where he was also part of the winning 4x200 meter relay team. Jeffrey ran in two events at the SUNYAC Indoor Championships, where he finished in the Top 4 for both events. He finished 3rd in the 800 meter with a time of 1:57.42, and 4th in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:32.23.
