Oswego, NY –The Lakers were in action Friday afternoon at the SUNYAC Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by SUNY Brockport.

In the women's 5000m Elena Gaffney finished second overall with a time of 17:48.31 setting a new Oswego indoor record. Her teammate Kyra Pellegrino finished right behind her in third with a time of 18:07.46.
 
In the men's triple jump, Cory Morton took home second with a score of 14.12.
 
Noah Melita took home 7^th in the men's 5000m with a time of 15:51.58 scoring a couple points for the Lakers.

The women's team of Julay Mustafa, Alannah Edwards, Grace Stevens, and Jessica Torrey finished 9^th overall in the women's distance medley with a time of 14:46.59. In the mens medley, the team of Evan Young, Aidan Hafer, Darnell Johnson, and Miles Thompson finished 9^th as well with a time of 11:32.81.
 
In the women's weight throw, Rebecca Steiner (11.36) and Shea Masse (10.81) both earned new personal best scores on the afternoon.
