ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Senior Sarah Yensan finished first in the women's long jump with a mark of 5.63 meters to lead the Oswego State women's track and field team at the All-Atlantic Track and Field Regional Championships hosted by Nazareth College.  As a team, the Lakers finished in 17th out of the 41 colleges competing at the event.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Senior Catarina Burke earned a top-10 in the women's high jump with her mark of 1.60 meters to earn team points for the Lakers.
• Fellow senior Shaniece Gregory was 12th in the 400-meter dash (1:00.46) and 16th in the 200-meter dash (26.54 seconds).
• On the men's side, Kevin Mitchell earned a top-10 in the men's 200-meter dash with his time of 22.90 seconds.
• Junior Kyle Sorbello was 15th in the high jump at 1.84 meters.

WHAT'S NEXT
Senior Yensan and Burke will see if their marks hold up through the weekend to keep them among the top-20 nationally in their events in order to qualify for the Division III Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships.
