HOUGHTON, N.Y. – Sophomore
Aidan Harrington hit a trio of personal-best times and finished in the top-8 in the 60-meter hurdles, 200-meter dash and 400-meter dash to lead the Oswego State track & field teams at the Highlander Invitational hosted by Houghton College.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Harrington qualified for the men's 60-meter hurdle final with a personal best 9.46 second run in the preliminaries.
- In the final, he raced to a 9.16 finish, earning second place and breaking into Oswego's all-time indoor top-10 at sixth.
- The Nesconset native returned to run a 52.29-second 400-meter dash to finish third and a 23.32-second 200-meter dash for sixth place.
- Sophomores Jack Hickey (fourth – 52.55) and Matthew Broadnax (seventh – 53.84) also placed in the top-8 of the 400-meter dash.
- In field action, senior Michael Saavedra took sixth in the shot put with a throw of 12.01 meters (39' 5").
- For the women, senior Lindsay Fluman finished third at 11.52 meters (37', 9.5") in the women's weight throw and fifth in the shot put (10.08 meters).
- Freshman Alandra Jones grabbed third in the shot put with her throw of 10.63 meters (34' 10.5") and Abigail Conpropst was sixteenth (8.05 meters).
- Junior Ashleigh Lacy lowered her personal-best time in the 60-meter dash to 8.23 seconds in taking third.
- Lacy returned for the 200-meter dash to finish fourth of the 43 runners in the event in 27.45 seconds.
- In her first mile run collegiately, freshman Faith Coyle finished in the top half of the field (17 of 44) in a time of 5:46.96.
- Freshman Ellen Decker was nineteenth in the 3,000-meter run and senior Rebecca Cropsey was twenty-third.
