OSWEGO, N.Y. – Led by 22 points from
Ashleigh Lacy and 16 individual points from
Aidan Harrington, the Oswego State track & field teams finished in fourth (M) and fifth (W) at the RIT Invitational. The meet included runners from RIT, Roberts Wesleyan, Fredonia, Houghton, Alfred and Oswego.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lacy scored in all three of her events, winning the 400-meter dash while finishing in third in both the 60-meter dash and 200-meter dash.
- Freshman Alandra Jones was also a winner in the shot put with teammate Lindsay Fluman also added points for her sixth-place finish.
- Fluman also grabbed six team points in the weight throw with a third place finish.
- Long jumper Kayla Guerre finished in second in that event and also qualified for the final in the 60-meter dash.
- Both freshmen in the women's 800-meter run scored with Faith Coyle earning third and Gretchen Dowd taking seventh.
- In the mile, Ellen Decker scored four points while senior Emily Blake grabbed three points for her sixth spot.
- Harrington cruised to the top spot in the 200-meter dash (23.45) and finished third in the 60-meter hurdles.
- Senior Nathan Couse set a personal-best in the mile run with a 4:38 and then took fourth in the 800-meter run (2:08.21).
- With a toss of 12.76 meters (40'11"), senior Michael Saavedra brought home third.
- In the 1000-meter run, sophomore Matthew Pietzak earned third and both sophomore Jack Hickey (sixth) and Matthew Broadnax (eighth) earned points in the 400-meter dash.
- The 4x400-meter relay team of Hickey, Broadnax, Chris Dorney, Ousmane Diallo and Harrington earned eight points with a time of 3:41.33.

The Lakers head back out west for the Brockport Invitational on February 4&5.
